Health & Safety

Nothing comes before safety. Nothing.

Health & Safety

Earth Communications is proud to maintain an Energy Safety Canada COR certification and prequalified in ComplyWorks and ISN. This makes our safety program compliant with all our customers requirements.

“For us, health and safety are important because we want our employees to make it home safe at the end of the work day,” explains Craig McDonald, CEO of Earth Communications.

Safety is our culture: 24-hour services mean 24-hour safety

Our safety program addresses the work performed by our technicians and the site-specific hazards in which they my encounter. We know our clients expect to work with a company as reliable as the communications services we provide – This is why all of our field technicians are trained in industry required safety programs including; H2S, OFA 1, eGSO, GSO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, WHMIS, TDG and Defensive Driving training.

“We don’t look at safety training as a one-time thing,” notes Operations Manager Marcus Walters, for Earth Communications. “We regularly repeat training in monthly safety meetings and exceed every minimum requirement.”

Every service delivered to the field by our technicians has an interconnected safety component. Communications are not only a vital element in successfully implementing safety culture at any work site, but mandatory in developing a site ERP in case of an emergency.
